Marco is an accomplished and respected wealth professional specializing in executive foreign pension transfers, affluent Canadian families, international families transferring wealth to Canada, and successful business owners with complex corporate structures.  He holds the Personal Financial Planner (PFP®) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designations. 

He received his business education from BCIT, Athabasca University, and Harvard Business School.  He won numerous awards, including Developing Consultant of the Year, Pillar Awards, and Millionaire Clubs from one of Canada’s largest financial planning and asset management companies until he left the industry in 2015.   

In 2015, he took a break from Canada’s wealth industry to participate in acquiring and financing industrial-scale renewable energy power plant assets in Asia.  During this period, he spent a lot of time at major global financial centers like Singapore and gained a deeper understanding of global capital markets.

In 2019, he returned to Canada to join Travis Forman at Strategic Private Wealth Counsel.  Their team offers institutions, family offices, and individuals a deeper insight into global markets and access to specialized private market investments like Rockridge Private Debt, Forsyth Private Real Estate, and Laurier Private Equity Pools.  Travis is the Portfolio Manager for Rockridge Private Debt, Forsyth Private Real Estate, and Laurier Private Equity Pools.  Hence, our team specializes in pension asset allocation portfolios and private market investments.
