In his role as Lead Portfolio Manager of Watermark Private Portfolios, Ian Goodman is responsible for the overall management of the program, including portfolio construction technical analysis and monitoring as well as tactical management. Under his leadership, the program has grown to more than $2B since its launch in 2018 and encompasses an extensive range of customized and innovative investment strategies.

Ian brings over 16 years as a Portfolio Manager, and 19 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Harbourfront, Ian was Portfolio Manager at Credential Asset Management, responsible for managing their proprietary investment platform.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Simon Fraser University. He is a Certified General Accountant (now CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst and obtained a Certificate in Technical Analysis and a Certificate in Derivatives Market Strategies from the Canadian Securities Institute.
