David Stubbs
Senior Investment Strategist for the Americas

David Stubbs is a Managing Director and the Senior Investment Strategist for the Americas in the Private Wealth Solutions group. Dr. Stubbs previously spent 8 years at J.P. Morgan, where he was most recently the Global Head of Thematic Investing for their Wealth Management business. Prior to that role he was the Head of Investment Strategy for their International Private Bank and a Global Macro Strategist in their Asset Management business. Previously, Dr. Stubbs has worked at the United Nations Department for Economics and Social Affairs and the International Development arm of the U.K. government. Dr. Stubbs received a Ph.D. in Economics from the New School for Social Research, an M.Sc. in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a B.Sc. in Economics and Politics from the University of Birmingham. He is on the board of the Children’s Environmental Literacy Foundation and is a CMT and FRM holder.
Brad Mashinter

Brad Mashinter is a Partner and Head of Private Equity at Fiera Comox, and a member of the firm’s Management Investment Committee overseeing Fiera Comox’s four strategies: Private Equity, Private Credit, Agriculture and Timberland. Prior to joining Fiera Comox, Brad was a Managing Director at CPPIB where he was a member of the firm-wide Global Leadership Team and investment committee member for their $125 billion global private equity portfolio. Prior to CPPIB, Brad was in the Direct Private Equity group at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in Toronto and at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners in New York. In addition to being a CFA charterholder, Brad holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Marie has over 25 years of experience in assisting individuals with international tax issues in both Canada and the UK and has first-hand experience having moved from the UK to Canada 18 years ago. She has extensive experience in both Canadian and U.S. personal income tax and also provides tailored advice on other matters, such as executive and equity-based compensation.
Marie also works with multinational companies on all personal aspects of their global assignee population, from initial planning and tax cost calculations through return preparation and repatriation, including payroll and social security considerations.

Matt is a leader in Deloitte’s Strategy & Business Design consulting practice in Toronto (Monitor Deloitte). He co-leads Deloitte’s national wealth and asset management practice named ‘The Future of Advice & Investing.’
He serves clients across the spectrum of wealth management and retail financial services channels and business models, including: full-service brokerage, private investment counsel, private banking, wealth services (e.g., trust), mass affluent ‘hybrid’ models, mass market ‘retail’ businesses, direct investing, and asset management. Matt works with bank-owned distributors, independent wealth managers, US firms, regional FIs, new entrants, and insurance organizations. His primary focus is the Canadian market, with global experience in the US, Europe, and Asia.
Matt has deep expertise in corporate and business unit strategy, market entry, customer and channel strategy, new business model development, and large-scale business transformation and capability-building. Adrian Altamirano

Adrian leads a national business channel focused on delivering a holistic experience for PPI’s strategic relationships with IIROC, MFDA, ICPM and Caisses Populaires firms across Canada. Adrian and his team focus on providing the firm’s leadership and business development teams as well as investment advisors with tailored, dedicated resources, unique competitive advantages and delivering on a turn-key solution to integrating insurance planning within a wealth management or group operation.
Adrian joined PPI in 2015 as Sales Director in Ontario; in 2018, he was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Sales for the region. In 2021, Adrian accepted the mandate of National Vice President, Strategic Relationships. Based in Toronto, Adrian has over a decade of experience in various roles within the financial industry, predominantly as a financial planner and sales executive. He began his career as an Insurance Advisor with Sun Life Financial in 2007 and was awarded the “Quick Start Award” for exceeding expectations. He later developed the go-to-marketing strategy for life insurance at State Farm before transitioning to BMO Nesbitt Burns as an investment advisor.

As Regional Director for Strategic Relationships Rhealynne’s goal is promote comprehensive financial planning through the lens of insurance. With a consultative, client-centric approach she partners with advisors, firm leaders and centres of influences in the Prairies to help diversify revenue streams and enhance advisors’ current offering.
Rhealynne has close to 20 years of experience in investments and wealth management working with Retail, IIROC, MFDA and MGA Advisors. Rhealynne has her Bachelor of Management Degree, majoring in Finance as well as her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) & Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). She is a member of Advocis as well as the Estate Planning Council of Canada.
Katrina Stobbart

Katrina supports the achievement of the Strategic Relationships sales plan in her region though promoting consultative sales and relationship management of key Advisors, influencers and staff at select firms, including the support of Investment Advisors at MFDA and IIROC firms as they build their insurance business.
Katrina brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including seven years as the Vancouver Office Operations Manager for PPI Advisory. She returned in 2019 as a Business Development Manager and has focused on developing an understanding of Advisor needs to identify and enhance sales opportunities. Katrina prides herself on working in a collaborative environment and has been instrumental in facilitating all aspects of the insurance planning process by using her knowledge and strong sense of customer service to address the ongoing and changing needs of Advisors and their clients.
Richard Piccirillo

Richard Piccirillo is a Managing Director and one of the co-heads on the Multi-Sector Team at PGIM Fixed Income. Mr. Piccirillo had specialized in mortgage-and asset-backed securities since joining the Firm in 1993. Before joining the Firm, Mr. Piccirillo was a fixed income analyst with Fischer Francis Trees & Watts. Mr. Piccirillo started his career as a financial analyst at Smith Barney. He received a BBA in Finance from George Washington University and an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University. Mr. Piccirillo was named a 2019 winner of the Pension and Investment Provider Award for Global Multi-Asset Credit.

Ben Larsen is an institutional Client Portfolio Manager at GQG Partners. Before he joined GQG Partners, Mr. Larsen served in various roles at Arnerich Massena, Inc., where he focused on non-US equity manager research, as a Research Manager and Senior Research Analyst.
