I have been in the financial services industry for over 20 years. I was raised in Weyburn, Saskatchewan and came back to raise my family. I am married to Rini, and we have 2 children. In 2002 I took over the practice of industry veteran Warren Schweitzer. I completed my Personal Financial Planning course in 2003; obtained my Certified Financial Planner designation in 2003; my Certified Senior Advisor (now Certified Professional Consultant on Aging) designation in 2005; my Registered Retirement Consultant designation in 2015 and I became IIROC licensed in 2015.

I believe in giving back to the community and have been involved in coaching the offensive and defensive line for the Weyburn Comprehensive Eagles football team for 18 years; I am the past chairperson of the Weyburn & District Hospital Foundation Inc. (WDHF) and am currently a board member as I have been since its inception in 2008; I was the chairperson of the WDHF Golf Tournament committee for 5 years, raising over $1 million during that time; I have been coaching house and competitive soccer with the Weyburn Soccer Association; I have coached basketball with the Steve Nash Youth Basketball program; I was a committee member for the Weyburn Travelodge Charity Golf Tournament for 10 years; and I am also the past president of the Weyburn KidSport committee.
