Career opportunity:
We currently have a career opportunity for the right individual looking to work alongside our Watermark Private Portfolio team, overseeing over $1B in assets under administration. The ideal candidate would fill the role of a Transition Investment Advisor in our Vancouver Head Office, assisting existing advisors transitioning their book to our Unified Managed Accounts program. This role requires an individual that is passionate about people, has IIROC sales experience and is willing to learn how our private investment solutions benefit clients. The successful candidate is ambitious, professional, detail-oriented, independent, organized, and effective at multi-tasking, with strong communication and people skills. Depending on experience and knowledge, the core responsibilities of the role will be, but not limited to:

Key responsibilities
• Foster a “team first” environment and can work well with other colleagues (IA’s and PM’s)
• Have a genuine interest in working with retail clients with a strong desire to help them achieve their investment goals
• Handle incoming queries (calls, emails, etc.) while communicating the benefits of our private solutions
• Maintain a CRM contact system to accurately & timely document your communications
• Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned to ensure a successful working environment

Ideal candidate qualifications:
• Have experience in a professional, client facing environment in the financial services industry
• Strong computer skills, highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications and PDF software
• Ability to learn new programs, i.e., DocuSign, proprietary client management systems
• Previous experience with Morningstar, YCharts, etc. is an asset
• IIROC licensed (CSC/CPH completed)
• CIM, QAFP, CFA or CFP are assets
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
