Career opportunity:
We currently have a career opportunity for a Marketing/Client Services Coordinator to join a top-performing Portfolio Management team in the Burlington area. This role requires an individual who is professional, independent, organized, effective at multi-tasking and detail oriented, with strong communication and people skills. Candidates must be versatile and capable of performing a variety of tasks to get the job done.
This role is in the office Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Some evenings and weekends may be required. Depending on experience and knowledge, the core responsibilities of the role will be, but not limited to:

Key responsibilities
• Create content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media
• Organize and run marketing campaigns over our social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
• Promote events, services and content over social media, consistent with our organization’s brand and social media strategy
• Schedule social media posts using applications such as Hootsuite
• Implement new social media strategies and campaigns
• Enhance advisor’s effectiveness by providing information management support
• Greet visitors, clients, and prospective clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Handle incoming telephone calls, sort, and distribute the mail
• General clerical and administrative duties: Data entry, filing and any other assigned administrative duties/projects
• Coordinate the assembly and mailing of client paperwork
• Order and handle office supplies, coordinate vendors
• Coordinate and book travel arrangements
• Organize and coordinate all conference calls and webinars
• Social media updates
• Manage the Advisors’ calendars: Schedule meetings, allocate sufficient preparation time for appointments, recognize and anticipate changes, resolve schedule conflicts.

Ideal candidate qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a client facing environment
• 1-2 years demonstrated experience with social media marketing campaigns
• Proficiency with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic with a team-first mindset and proven ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and results-oriented
• Superior customer service skills and exceptional interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up effectively
• Proven ability to work in a professional team environment
• Takes the initiative and identifies opportunities to add value
• Experience working with a Securities Brokerage firm an asset
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset
