Career opportunity:
We currently have a career opportunity for a Business and Operations Analyst to supplement our operations team to provide support to Harbourfront and Harbourfront Group of Companies. This role will be located at our head office in Vancouver, BC reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations & Transitions. We are looking for a motivated, high performing, results driven candidate.

Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Fee Reconciliation Analysis
  • Billable, Non-Billable securities reconciliation analysis
  • Ticketing and operations KPI analysis support
  • Fee and Operation anomaly investigations and resolutions
  • Escalated advisor support desk response
  • Supporting ongoing special projects
  • Annual Tax slip oversight
  • Quarterly statement generation oversight
  • Digital Onboarding system oversight (revision management, error resolution)
  • Supporting various internal departments to collect and extract data from vendors and internal systems.

Ideal candidate qualifications:

  • Business degree and/or industry related experience in this specific role
  • 5+ years of industry experience, ideally, within an IIROC wealth management firm
  • Strong analytical thinking, understanding of technical information, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with IIROC operating systems, such as, ISM, fee management, would be an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to complete data analysis and reporting for management in specified timelines
